It stands up very well to the rain & doesn't flood as say Pennards does. It's also nice and central unless you want to go to the Acoustic Field then it's a bit of a hike.

Hello all !!!

I had a spur of the moment yesterday  and bought myself a ticket :-)  Can't believe they still had tickets. Going alone.

Reading about pitching together here makes total sense.

I'm a 35 year old girlie, live in Somerset , 1 hour away from site. Can only start camping on thursday though.

If anyone wants to pitch close to me , please feel free to pm me !!!!!

Jennifer

Belgian Belle; it may be an idea to ask the folk camping together here if it would be possible to keep you a spot. PM Janet (BetsyBounce) if you want to know more.

Bought some boots today , went to have a look around Pilton yesterday , the fences are already up and it looks REALLY wet down there.

I've not decided whether to go on the Weds or the Thurs yet... decisions decisions.  The past two times I've been I've gone on the Weds but then it's extra time where I'm wandering around by myself.

Decisions Decisions!!

Righty ho. Due to a huge change of plan far too boring & complex to go into, I'm actually going to Glastonbury this year.

So now we're back up it's an idea to finalise plans in regards camping, etc. Anyone wanting to camp with us old-timers are free to do so, just PM Janet (Betsybounce) or myself & we'll fire over mobile numbers so you can find us in a big field in Pilton.

Ello ello

What happened to this site ?? I couldn't get on it for days ......

Got my ticket today !!!! From my lovely postman who plays in a metalband , check him out on www.gripshiftband.com  !! I mean , the guy looks sweet , you'd never expect him to play in a metalband , I thought he played the banjo or something. I'm waffling , sorry.

Errrr , pretty please , mobile numbers or a mail of anyone who fancies having me pitching nearby ? Located my old tent and sleeping bag , now frantically trying to get all the other bits and pieces together. Would be stress-free if I weren't going to a wedding and then a few days to Belgium just beforehand .......

Arriving only thursday though  , I know I'm a pain .

Cheers   !!!!!!!
