To the shock of nobody I assume, this year's festival has been cancelled due to the Covid19 outbreak. Those who got tickets back in October will have them carry over to 2021, however cancellation is still available for people.

I'd heard on the grapevine a few weeks ago this was likely to happen but they were waiting for the UK government to act, but they've acted themselves and they'll take a hit over this. Give a thought too for those people who work for the festival who should now be getting into gear for the festival, and those who trade festival to festival, now face an uncertain future as festivals in June and July can pretty much be ruled out. We may have some in August, but I'd be prepared for 2020's festival season to be wiped out.

So good luck to the Eavis's and the festival staff. Hopefully they manage to ride this out.
